Piano Mandy first began professionally entertaining 19 years ago, playing piano and singing every weekend at the Old San Francisco Steakhouse. Since then, she has continued performing at weddings and special events across Texas including The Driskill Hotel, Vargo's in Houston, Star Cruises on the Texas Coast, the Four Seasons Hotel, Westwood Country Club, Onion Creek Country Club and more.  She began taking lessons at Southwestern University at the age of six and also learned much from her parents, classes in Jazz improv at The University of Texas, and private lessons from local jazz artists. Her father, Rob Rothenberg, inspired and helped her to learn to improvise and to play professionally.

Mandy has a degree in Education from the University of Texas and is owner and instructor at Maxon Music Stars Studio.  She absolutely loves helping her students progress in their command of and love for the ivories.  When she’s not working, Mandy’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with her amazing husband, Corey, and their beautiful toddler.  They love to study the Bible, play games, play outdoors, watch movies, and spend time with friends.
